1. Information We Collect

When you use Stardust Hub, we collect the following types of information:

• Account Data: Email address, User Identifier (UID), cryptographic password hash, and profile details (Display Name, Profile Picture, Bio, Profession).
• User Content: Text posts, comments, photos, videos, reels, and chat messages sent across our channels.
• Technical & Device Data: Network handshake data, device type, connection parameters, and interactive log metrics required to operate real-time communications (PeerJS/WebRTC).

2. Third-Party Infrastructure & Data Storage

To deliver a fast, scalable, and secure experience, Stardust relies on enterprise-grade third-party service providers for data storage and content delivery:

• Firebase (Google LLC): We store core user authentication data, user metadata, post publications, comments, real-time messaging data, and system configurations inside secure Cloud Databases managed by Firebase.
• ImgBB: Profile photos, shared post images, and general user-uploaded image media are securely stored and delivered via ImgBB CDN servers.
• Cloudinary: User-uploaded videos, reels, and video media assets are processed, stored, and streamed via Cloudinary's media infrastructure.

3. How We Use Your Data

We utilize collected information to:

• Create and manage your user account and 6-digit unique identifier (UID).
• Enable real-time interactive messaging, media feeds, audio call signaling, and networking features.
• Moderate platform content and protect users against malicious activity or unauthorized platform misuse.
• Provide user experience customizations, dark/light themes, and premium profile interface enhancements.

4. Media & Camera Permissions

Stardust Hub requires explicit user consent to access the camera and microphone solely for enabling real-time audio calling and capturing/uploading photos or videos. We do not record or access your camera/microphone in the background without active user initiation.

5. Data Security

Your authentication credentials are encrypted using industry-standard cryptographic hashing before transmission and storage. While we implement robust technical safeguards across Firebase, ImgBB, and Cloudinary, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Deletion & User Rights

You reserve the right to modify or delete your profile information, posts, reels, and uploaded media at any time directly through the Stardust application settings and media interfaces.
